Carmen was born in Macon, Georgia and started showing horses when she was five years old. One summer she visited Ocala and instantly fell in love with the area.

In 1987, Carmen started in real estate by building and selling mini-farms, flipping seven total, as well as a great deal of vacant land. This experience developed her love of real estate, and she became a real estate agent in 2005. She is currently developing gated equestrian communities in NW Marion County and building new homes.

Her daughter Madison is a naval officer, and daughter Larsen recently graduated with an accounting degree. Carmen’s hobbies include trail riding, cycling, and traveling. She owns two horses, one of which is 37 years old.

Her favorite aspect of living in Marion County is its natural beauty and all the fun outdoor activities, from trail riding to kayaking to cycling.
