At Showcase, we believe that an essential element to building a thriving local community is support of culture and the arts. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor this year’s Best of the Best Exhibit hosted by the Marion Cultural Alliance at the Brick City Center For the Arts this November. Best of the Best will feature works by some of the most talented artists in the Marion County area in every medium imaginable, and visitors are encouraged to support their local artistic community by taking home pieces available for purchase.
On opening night of the exhibit, November 3rd, visitors will be able to meet the Marion County Cultural Alliance’s artists featured in the gallery, and browse their diverse and exciting works. The exhibit will be open Tuesday through Saturday, from November 3rd to the 25th.
Since 2001, the Marion Cultural Alliance has championed the rich artistic community of the Marion County. They’ve also supported local science and history museums and education. They have donated over $1.5 million to the arts and charities in the Ocala/Marion County area, established a Cultural Endowment Fund of $900,000, and enrich the art community with grants to local artists. Operating the Brick City Center for the Arts art gallery in downtown Ocala, and they feature rotating monthly exhibits there.
