While attending CW Post College in Brookville, NY, she worked with the US Tennis Association and the US Open. Her experiences working with both taught her even more about the practical value of marketing, outreach, and communication. After graduating, she built a career in marketing financial services and spent fifteen years in commercial lending, working with real estate professionals on various construction projects including multifamily, mixed use, retail and hotel development.
“It was exciting, and I got to work with some incredibly creative and innovative people,” she says. “It gave me a solid background in the industry and vital experience in communication.”
She had been licensed in Colorado and quickly obtained one in Florida, working with Calesa for almost two years before joining Showcase, which she had already learned about when she was living out West. She knew she wanted to work with a team that was local and invested in the community, and she says Showcase always felt like the right direction for her
“It’s such a supportive company that’s involved in events and organizations in the area, and that really drew me,” she says. “I wanted to add to that somehow. I don’t know where, but I’ll find my niche.”
