So far in 2017, Florida has had an excellent year. Right off the bat, our state had the highest sales volume in January at 29,604—more than five times the national average for that month. Marion County has distinguished itself as being among the top five counties in month-over-month change in total sales, with a 13.4% increase. Month-over-month change in sales is a good indicator of the strength of the local real estate market.
